Le mur de Berlin va sauter !
posted by Hicks on 28 October 2012
We are late! Tom&Jerry/ GPA released some weeks ago a new game adaptation: Le mur de Berlin va sauter. A syntaxical adventure game in the traditional SRAM's style, taking place in a strange district of Berlin... If you are not fond of this kind of game try it anyway, the story is funny and you will hear some bewitching musics by our patriarch! If you get stuck in your investigation, you can find some tips in this CPC Rulez thread...Le mur de Berlin va sauter !

XzentriX 2012

If you want to meet a large part of the German CPC scene, you should have been present at XzentriX 2012 two weeks ago. As every year since 1998, this party dedicated to the old computers takes place in Seeshaupt in Germany, and is visited by some CPC scene legends as Odiesoft or Kangaroo... After showing some previews at ReSeT #8, MaV finally released his first intro called MaVdelbrot for the occasion. Hopefully this is a new beginning for the sleeping Austrian and German demoscene! You can watch some photos of XzentriX on Octoate's website...XzentriX 2012
Push'n'Flash

In association with Shinra and CPC Parts, Push'n'Pop is about to offer an improved version of the MegaFlash developed by Bryce (more informations about it here). Based on the original one, it will provide up to 32 virtual ROMs (16 accessible from Basic) in a 512K Flash ROM, won't require a battery and will be smaller than a RAMcard. As improvement, it will feature a ROM 0 and 7 switch, a reset button and the possibility to disable all the ROMs to run a rebellious program. A box version with switches and buttons will also be available as an option. And as we are the best, all the cards will be sent assembled and tested, for a price around 20 euros. If you are interested, let us know quickly (before October)!

This offer is reserved for our dear elitist members because we make efforts for those who are worthy :)

Sugarlumps

Big surprise from the United Kingdom where Sundown 2012 took place this week-end! Joined by Mr.Lou for the music, Doz/ CRTC & 3LN released an intro called Sugarlumps which won the oldskool competition! Very promising as it's his first demo on CPC and the effects are quite original for our platform. Actually, some CPC sceners already met Doz at Revision, so we can probably expect another prod by him!Sugarlumps
Revival'n Impact Coop

Oriented news: If you want to see, in less than 15 minutes, a sumptuous intro graph (probably designed by a 8 years old disabled child), some (too short) plasma sequences, the famous "foreground bobs", a nice Sid player, 14.7 Hz transitions and an original tune by Shap (extracted from his 90's disks), then run, run, and download the last Revival/Impact coproduction!

Neutral news: Impact and Revival just released a new Amstrad Plus demo named Revival'n Impact Coop. The two parts are coded by AST and F-Key, with the help of CeD for the graphics, and musics by Shap (original) and Tao (Seagulls). You can download it here and react on the Impact and CPCRulez forums, because they don't read Push'n'Pop.
