@voxfreax: There's a TGV from Airport CDG which can take you directly to Lyon. Travel time is a bit more than two hours (+ waiting for the train).

It doesn't look too bad. Or am I the only one who takes the pains to travel 12+ hours for a party?

@MaV: OK, haven't checked the travel time on TGV's website, but on google maps... That's why I said that it is longer to reach Lyon. Thanks for the info!

I came from Greece to ReSeT. Who traveled more hours? ;)

@VoxFreax: Me ! started at 14h00 from Coutances, arrived a 23h30 at home :)

TGV is fucking expensive too... fast but not cheap at all.

there are no planes from Greece to Lyon ?

Come on, few people go to one party per year, do not expect all of them to go to two parties per year, and do not expect all the absents of the first party to go to the second one ...

edit: By the way, people are not enough determined to organize their own party (count me in these people)

@Beb: I started at 14h30 from Coutances and arrived at 04h00 at home, and then I woke up at 8h00 to go to work! Nightmare!!! I guess I won the first position here ;)

Lyon would be cool too, it's not completely into Mordor.

But Revision in April, ReSeT in June and Main in October. Doesn't leave much room for another party. (from an hydrophobic, lazy French point of view :)

@voxfreax: Nice performance. I'll give you some candy for the next time we'll meet us. :) (the same that we gave to hicks at revision)

>>Lyon
>>not completely into Mordor.
sounds like "parisianisme primaire"... ho, those Lyonnais, what a bunch of provinciaux arriérés...

OMG...

Lyon (Lugdunum) was a shining Gallo-Roman city while Lutèce was still a muddy shithole full of uneducated and illiterated Parisii (the sort of like Britany and Armor or even future normandy area).

Rhône-Alpes is certainly the most God Blessed piece of land in the world too.
The best food and products, awesome wine, sweet fruits and cheese and saucissons, good transports and industry, sweet wild countryside too (Ardèche, Drôme, Alps).

And I'm proud of being born there with even true origins from there (Lyon and Savoie/Alps).

Sorry, had to be told...
B-)

Anyway, the "Alchimie" demo party is already in Drôme, and it is great.

Would be cool to have some more 8 bit there, and Amstrad too.

Lutèce? Pfff! Provincial argot!

Every citizen of the Imperium Romanum knows that Lutetia is the proper Latin name. And if you want to sound well educated or boastful in Rome you probably used Old Greek: Λoυκoτοκία. :P

MacDeath: whaat ? Grim is from Toulouse and will try by all means to avoid going north of the Garonne, which he calls Mordor. Nothing parisian at all...
You should come to meetings and try to know the people better !

I wasn't being that serious you know...

"too loose" ?
what a puny lame name for a city.
well considering it is a pink city, perhaps a proper name anyway.
^_^

I also have a few origins from the sud-ouest anyway.

Lyon , why not...
Not so far as Countances but in terms of costs, i'm not sure to be able to do more parties in the same year :(
France Zik - 28 June 2012 - 23:21:50 3 posts
@Supersly: Thanks for your comment on my music. You are probably right about the beat-box volume. I may have attended too many demo-parties featuring a huge sound system recently!
And also I must admit I did not have much time to polish this tune before the deadline...
By the way, I assume you listened on a real Amstrad.

@Eliot: Thank you for organizing such meetings. It is a shame I could not come (but end of June is a really overbooked period for me).

Another one near Lyon could be great (provided that I can come!).

Personal message to Fano & Toto : Multi Mark 1.2 is now available :-).

Now you can disable printer in the SETUP menu. I didn't update the format routine, as it already can create tracks with 10 sectors (you just have not to forget to modify GAP3 format value :-) ).
