ROManager 1.44

On the way to ROManager 1.44 for the MegaFlash now some online help-texts are integrated. Download actual WIP version at www.futureos.de

I do suggest to use WIP of 1.44 instead of old 1.35 version.

The three Flash functions of the FutureOS version are not tested, please don't use now. I will do this in one month (when I can access my hardware).

Now, the "Protect Flash" and "Initialize Flash" fuctions have been tested and work.

I uploaded 1.44 now (see archives at www.futureos.de in download section). However I still have to do some testing...

Hope it brings some good times to you :-D

Woa, I've used the manager for the first time yesterday, it took me more than 5 minutes to flash quickcmd rom...
Do not take it personally, but this tool is too complex, not intuitive, and ugly to be used to instal roms (at least for me).
However it proposes several functions not available for the ramcard manager which seem interesting.
I will use it only if I need to deactivate or exchange roms

-Load ROM - that's all you need.

If you have trouble then read the handbood on disc, "-ROM.TXT".

I don't know what you mean with ugly??? Any constructive ideas?

Just integrate some Flash-functions in your next demo, and you will show off ;-)
That would be something *hehe*

after speaking with peplenhaving a better English than mine, ugly is not the right word. it is better to say not beautiful and not ergonomic.
I have no constructive remarks about that, because:
- It may be a problem of culture as the other German softs done 20 years ago have the same lok and field
- you may ask advices to supersly as his Job is to design interfaces
- slow computers as amstrad may not need graphical interfaces with long menus as it is too slow to navigate inside

I cannot do a demo with rooms, otherwise the french purists will through shit on my face ;)

Hehe, damn them - you can do it :-)

Well, using Cursor + Copy is IMHO working quick. But if somebody has a better idea of a menue system, I will be listening.

Thanks.
